Sponsorship

Following the great success of nine St John's Beer Festivals before COVID, we are back and excited for our tenth festival on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September 2025.  Over the nine years, the festival became known as the friendly festival, attracting over 500 people each year from the local community and beyond.

In nine years, we raised over £50,000 for the church and charities. St John's has spent a considerable amount developing our church and community hall spaces to make them modern and accessible, fit for the many community groups that benefit from the facilities. The proceeds from the beer festival this year will be split between St John's and the Overgate Big Build Appeal. This is a large-scale redevelopment of the Hospice site in Elland, building a new purpose-built 16-bed Inpatient Unit, and significantly expanding and upgrading their Day Hospice facilities.

Businesses, groups, and individuals are invited to sponsor a barrel of beer at the festival. There are three sponsorship options:
